Big names make their way to Colorado casinos

Casinos and live musical entertainment go hand in hand.
You can’t think of Las Vegas without imagining the glory days of Frank Sinatra, The Rat Pack, Elvis and more recently top acts like Celine Dion and Prince.
Things are no different in Colorado. Hot spots like Club 243 at Fortune Valley, the Caribbean Cove at the Isle, Lady Luck, Bar 8042 at Ameristar, and the brand new stage at Fitzgeralds all provide live tunes as well as DJs, music fans have a lot to chose from.
Take a look at some of the favorites who’ve graced the stages in the past,
and then be sure to check the entertainment calendar to see who’ll be putting on the next great show.
Hazel Miller
Denver’s first lady of song, the legendary Hazel Miller has entertained crowds around the country and the state, including the gaming towns in October. Miller sizzles with her takes on the blues, jazz, soul and pop.

The Rat Pack Is Back
This group is a swinging trip back in time to the early 1960s when savvy dames and swinging cats were an indistinguishable part of the gaming culture. With witty banter and a smooth musical style they present the best of the best in casino entertainment.
Walker Williams
One of Colorado’s top country music entertainers, Williams has grown up
with a love of true country music,
and that’s what he treats enthusiastic
crowds to each time he takes the stage.

Juice Newton
“The Queen of Hearts” herself has graced the stage up in Central City. Newton is a world-class entertainer and riveting on stage. She’s known for her distinctive voice and a string of pop and country hits like “Queen of Hearts,” “The Sweetest Thing” and “Break It To Me Gently.”
Deke Dickerson
A cult favorite, Dickerson is one of the hardest workingmen in the music biz. Dickerson runs his own record label and is constantly on tour with his band, tearing it up on stage with original and classic sounds of Americana: rock and roll, country swing, surf and rockabilly. He was at Fortune Valley back in 2009.
Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Boys
Big Sandy and his band recently played up in Central City, and we already want them to come back! Offering up a fantastic combo of Western swing, rockabilly and boogie sounds, The Boys are not too be missed and have the dance floor twisting and turning the night away.
